Unknown exe file at Shutdown
Hello. When I shutdown the computer I get a message that a 'zwvqrmhq.exe' file is shutting down, then not responding. My security prog (Ca Internet) scan isn't catching it. I've run a search for this file on the computer and haven't found it and I've run a registry list program and it doesn't show up. This file doesn't even show up in search engines. Any ideas what this is and how I can get rid of it? Tx.

Hijack This is a good tool for looking at this kind of stuff. You can try to do it yourself, but there is the malware forum to walk you thru an analysis.

Guide book.

Thanks for the recommendation. Found the file and deleted it. Thought I'd tried a HijackThis log but apparently didn't or missed it.
