Windows Defender and AVG on Vista
Having been used to using AVG on PCs running XP, when I bought a new laptop running Vista Home Edition SP1 then I loaded AVG on it as well. But what would you recommend please that I do about Windows Defender - leave it on or turn it off?

The biggest problem, which I find In Windows Defender is that its definitions are updated very infrequently, may be once in fifteen days.
In a world, where viruses and spyware change their patterns several times in an hour, how can a system with fortnightly updates make you secure.

leave windows defender on and get avast instead of avg. i seriously dont get why people use avg. avast ( out of avg and avira and avast) is the best. better updates for database, ui, tools, and gets rid of more than the others

also spybot is terrible, it WAS good but has bad definition updates and no real time like windows defender
