connection with update server failed
I'm not a computer wizard, but I'll try to explain as best I can. A while back my computer was running so slow with my Norton Internet Security that I decided to uninstall it. My computer ran much faster after that. I recently downloaded Adaware, spybot, and avg antivirus free programs. They downloaded fine, but none of them will let me update. I get an error message "connection with the update server failed". I have cable internet and it works fine and is connected all the time. I went in and disabled my windows firewall temporarily and it still won't let me do the updates. Not sure if I have some remnants of the Norton still on here that won't let me do it or what.
