Anti Virus Question
Chaps

I have a quick question.

I am in the UK and my ISP is Virgin Media. Virgin provides its own security as a freebie and the anti virus (PC Guard) is provided as standard.

I was messing around on the pc and suspect that I may have two anti viruses working at the same time.

I logged into control panel and then into windows security center.

It stated that the anti virus programme is on.

Does this mean I have a windows anti virus as well as a Virgin anti virus running at the same time and if so what should I do or even not do.

Many thanks

Mick

No, Windows does not come with any AntiVirus of it's own.

Whilst on the Security Center page click on the Virus Protection banner, next to where it says ON, it will expand the lower pane and give you details of the antivirus program installed, what does it say??

Hi

Thanks for the reply.

It says that my PC Guard (Virgin Media) anti virus is on and is up to date and running.

Regards

Mick
