Talking Antivirus Protection.
This seems a tad random but it is the random discussion section. I want to know what antivirus, antispyware, anti-malware etc. combination, you think is best. Obviously not ones that clash; for example mine is avast! antivirus and malwarebytes antimalware. Whats your favourite/best combination in your opinion.

Note: No all-in-ones, lol .

I am using COMODO Firewall. It works great, My antivirus program is AntiVir Personal.

I use SUPER Anti Spyware Free Edition.

Am happy with what I have.

The firewall I am using is working great. It doesn't let anything in. Haven't had a virus in the computer in a while. Knock on wood.

you should try the professional version of avast. And SP3 is just SP2 with 1 added.

Random really isn't for discussing software or hardware. Random or otherwise.
More of a 'friendship forum'.
It would have been a moderator or administrator that moved it.

Looks like there's a number of good suggestions from being moved here.

Just be glad it wasn't moved into Civilized Debate

I have Kaspersky Internet Security Suite 2009 which includes anti-malware too.Like others i have "SAS Pro" and more importantly Spyware Blaster. To add i've installed Malwarebytes Anti-Malware with real time protection which i've disabled because KIS2009 too has real-time protection.I frequently hear a lot about WinPatrol providing "layered Protection"along with SpywareBlaster, but don't have it yet! It's really unfortunate that the free version of "AVG Anti-Spyware"will no longer be available after dec'31st of this year.Blasted way to start the new year!AVG8 comes bundled with Anti-Virus and to add salt(and pepper) to the injury,it's not free.I have turned off the Windows Firewall, you know why!Guess i need some education on managing "Software Explorer".Nice day!

NOD32 (which has antispyware included)
Comodo Pro Internet Security (without the antivirus but with Defense+ enabled)
Comodo BOClean
SpywareBlaster
Startup Monitor which, as the name suggests, notifies me every time anything attempts to register in startup
Spybot S&D (without Tea Timer enabled, so no 'real time' cover) and, if all else fails:
Trojan Remover!!
