It's tough to diagnose a problem without knowing any details. What's the error? What makes you think your security software is at all related? Please use whole sentences in your posts so they're easier to read.

Hello!,
I havent had any troble with adobe flash or java but I have had loads of troble with the Nortton trial that came on my laptop.Norton crashed my computer so severely I had to send it back to the manufacturer to be fixed. And now that Ive got it back they reinstalled the system and also the Norton trial. Now the computer has crashed again.
It seems that the Norton trial that came with my computer was infected with a
backdoor trojan. I hope in your case this wont be your problem. My laptop is basicly
history. Im on my desktop or I couldnt tell you about this. I bought my laptop in May 2008 and it worked for about two months before Norton completely crashed it. Now when you reinstall,l the trial, is on the recovery ,and gets put right back on the computer.Since the computer is WIN. Vista Home Premium,Icant find out how to
delete partitions to get a clean install. Also all windows services have been disabled by whatever trojan is on there.
Sorry for the long story but I guess Im trying to let you know it may not be adobe and javas fault, it might be your security at fault. And I hope this is not true in your case .And maybe it wont be. But you might want to check to see if it is.
Good Luck to you and please let me know what happens!

If it is your security causing this, try to turn Norton off then try to download.
