Hey guys, my girlfriend got me to take a look at her laptop because she's been having some problems with it. I did the obvious virus scan, spyware scan and such. It fixed some things but there's still some issues, so I decided to come here since you've helped me a lot on the past. So here's a hijack this file and a pic of the error messages that pop up as soon as you start the computer. Also, she gets a windows explorer error when she tries to go into some folders and it closes the folders so she can't access them directly. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks again guys.

Those errors indicate that the malware that they are from was probably removed, but the load for those dll's is still in the registry.

Use Autoruns to find all the things that load on startup. It has a search function, or you can check it manually. Delete the references for those dll's.

Alright, that fixed those errors, thanks again! But I'm still getting another error when I try and open certain folders like I said before. I took another couple screenshots of the errors that I'm getting. Any more help would be greatly appreciated.

Reinstall, uninstall, or unregister the xvid codec. Did you install some codec pack?

To unregister, try: Start > Run > regsvr32 -u xvid.ax

You rock! That worked, so now everything's working fine again. Like I said before, it's my girlfriend's laptop, I use my PC, so I have no idea what she does on it. I doubt she does either actually. Thanks again though! Appreciate it so much.
