Solved: Malewarebytes no good SAS installs fine
I have SAS free edition installed great no spywear and I did Combo fix to make sure no infections.

I keep hearing Malewarebytes is so great but you cannot install it . I do not have spywear but it says
unable to register the DLL /OCX : create process failed code 2
system cannot find file specified.

If it is so great why will it not install and do I really need it with Norton IN ser 2008 and
Spywearblaster ?
I am computer illterate and it bugs me that it wll not install properly .
Any ideas or can anybody explain the problem ?
Thanks

Nothing bad showing there.

Have you restarted the machine since trying to install Malwarebytes?

Yep thanks for looking . I see some have trouble with this issue and posted my problem on the malware bytes forum and Major Geeks.
It just bugs me it will not install correctly and I am not as computer savy as some.
I think it may be a registery problem and I ain't gonna go there without step by step help

The Malwarebytes forum does have a registry hack but it does not appear to work 100% of the time and is stated as beta.

Sorry, to clarify when I did a quick restart it had cannot find C program and I just did ok and it came up fine .
I should have been more specific in my last post .
I restarted again and that did not come up .
I guess I have registery issues with it but SAS works well .Maybe I should not care but it bugs me that the problem exists .

Go to Start > Run and enter cmd

At the prompt enter:

copy c:\windows\servicepackfiles\I386\regsvr32.exe c:\windows\system32

I did this from a rolling rog post since dial a fix said reg svr was not found and did not

say no restrictive policies found at the bottom.
The problem was in my regisry with dll files .
Google is great right as I was able to install Malewarebytes after fixing this file .
