I have recently had an issue with google or any search engine , it now redirects me to commercial pages rather than the link it finds when i do a search.

I have installed AVG Free Spyware doctor and superspyware programmes as recomended in these forums, when they all go to update i get connection problems even though i have allowed them to connect in the firewall settings.

I am planning to buy Nortorn Anti virus 2009, is this a good programme to get rid of spyware etc?

I am also going to up date ad-aware manaully
