AVG boot time vs. others
I'm rebuilding my system and re-installing all the software and watching the impact of each and I noticed that AVG (free edition) added a full 30 seconds to my boot time.
Is this normal or do other AV's (I'm thinking Avast primarily) boot quicker?
I realize that 30 seconds doesn't seem like a lot of time, but when it was running right at 60 seconds 30 is a huge increase.
Are there comparable AV's that boot quicker, or is this a result of the update process and pretty universal?

Thanks
Godwulfe

I think AntiVir loads much faster than 30 seconds. Are these actuall "wall clock" seconds?

Peace...

Yes, these are "watching the seconds tick by" seconds.

It seems long. Like I said, as I loaded I was checking for what changes occurred.
XP alone took 50 seconds, Office 2007 Enterprise (w/Project,Visio, Expression) took it to 60 seconds. Adding AVG took it to 1:30.
