Can't install or load anything Microsoft related
I was messing with Microsoft Office because I needed to remove it in order to upgrade to 2007. I had messed with the regedit previously and hadn't made any sort of backup before hand.

Now after I finally have it uninstalled; IE, Windows Media Player, and the new installer for the new Microsoft Office won't load whatsoever. WMP doesn't even appear and the others just freeze.

Any help or suggestions?

If you have a retail CD\DVD of the OS you might be able to perform a repair...

That I do not have. My laptop is a bit over 2.5 years old and all OS cd's have been gone for a good amount of time. I may try digging up something but that's something I am almost sure I do not have anymore.
