computer freezes up only able to get on in safe mode
HI,
I am having problems with my computer when I get on in normal mode and click on a user it immediately freezes up I can only guess there is some virus causing this. I have started it up in safe mode now and need to know what I can do. I have Norton internet security but it has not been renewed so no new updates I do have hijack this I can run a log... Im not sure what limits I have in safemode so any help to get this fixed would be great .
Thanks
Snowey

can you post the hjt log

can you do a system recovery to before the system froze?? assuming XP/ME/Vista

if you can start in safemode with networking - you may be able to get onthe web and do an online scan
