I mean, why not just delete them to hell? | | Distinguished Member with 2,158 posts. | | Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: S.C Experience: Malware Fighter | | Quote:

As for AOL Spyware, never use it... | | Member with 73 posts. | | Join Date: Mar 2006 Location: Plymouth UK Experience: PC-illegitimate | | Thanks, but AOL Spyware often traps a lot of spyware, so why are you saying to not use it?
As for quarantining, yes that was going to be my next question- suppose I quarantine a load of stuff and then find a program won't work;
A- how will I know the quarantining is responsible for it,
B- how do I know exactly which file (out of possibly dozens) to fish out and restore to get the prog working again? | | Senior Member with 1,585 posts. | | Join Date: Sep 2008 Location: An Alien,a misfit on Earth Experience: Intermediate++ | | Dear MickinDevon,
I've been using the free version of Ad-Aware for long and always used the "delete" option with no harm done. Lucky? Never Quarantined! Best wishes. | | Distinguished Member with 2,158 posts. | | Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: S.C Experience: Malware Fighter | | Quote:
