AVG 8 Freee Edition Update Problem
I have been receiving an EXCLAMATION mark in my AVG free Icon. It says "Databe Update is disabled." However, upon checking the AUTOMATIC Updates and saving the changes, it stays unchecked upon double clicking the update manager icon.

When I manually update my AVG, it updates the latest files however. But upon restarting, it always notify me with the EXCLAMATION mark that the DATABASE UPDATE IS DISABLED.

I even checked the necessary update settings in the advanced settings but it stayed that way.

What could possible gone wrong?

Can anyone please help me with this? Thanks.
