WinPatrol detects dll's wanting to ???
Hello. My friend has an XP system that I believe was infected by a trojan. I've went throught a bunch of stuff and got rid of a few things and installed WinPatrol. Two (2) items keep attempting to ??? through WinPatrol. The part of the message with the "path" is as follows:

C:\WINDOWS\Fbumadava.dll.e

and the other one that follows this immediately...

C:\WINDOWS\anucabenuwig.dll.e

Advice and/or suggestions are appreciated.

I can provide a Hijack This log tomorrow if needed. Thank you!

They are both infections. If your antimalware scanners can't remove them, then post an HJT log in Malware.

Free anti-malware scanners:

A-Squared
PrevX CSI Free Version
Spybot S&D
RunScanner
Ad-Aware 2007
SuperAntiSpyware
Spyware Eliminator
Emco Malware Destroyer
Spyware Doctor
Arovax Anti-spyware
Trend-Micro Rootkit Buster
F-Secure Blacklight
Bootzilla (Bootable anti-malware CD with many other tools.)

List of freeware security software

BTW I ran the following...
A-Squared
Spybot S&D
SuperAntiSpyware
F-Secure Blacklight
CW Shredder
Windows Malicious Removal Tool
Avast Removal Tool
SpyAudit (by Webroot)

Didn't do much.

I'll be back with the infected computer tomorrow as stated.
You guys are great!
