Take 'warnings' seriously?
Hi, My AVG scan comes up clean with 'no threats detected' but at the same time it lists a whole load of 'Warnings' in the form of what seem to be cookie addresses.
Shall I just ignore them or get rid of them or what?
I mean what exactly is it warning me about, are they dangerous or not?

I would delete those cookies. They are probably tracking cookies that track you across sites put there by advertising companies. Deleting cookies do no harm.

Dear MickinDevon,
Yes,you should delete them. AVG detects third-party cookies which do most harm. If you're using IE browser, select to block all Third party cookies and the next time you run the AVG scan ,most of the cookies may not appear!

For many reasons other than this, i have stopped using IE as my default browser and instead use Firefox3. IE is good (in my opinion)only to download and install MS updates!
