Chrome, Firefox face clickjacking exposure
Chrome, Firefox face clickjacking dated Jan 29, 2009

Note1: Firefox 3.0.5 and Chrome versions 1.0.154.43 and earlier when running within Windows XP SP2 systems are exposed, however, Internet Explorer 8 (release candidate 1 and beta 2 versions) and Opera 9.63 (the latest version) were not exposed to the flaw.

Note2: Using Firefox Add-on NoScript may provide reduced exposure with its ClearClick anti-clickjacking feature. Visit http://noscript.net/faq#clearclick for information.

Another good reason for the no-script add-on if you do use Firefox.

I do wonder about the security used by the no-script developer though. Seems like a one man operation, just for the love of it. If his website ever got hacked, look out.

Dear Lotuseclat79, When i joined the community here,i received a wonderful e-mail. It said"kindly thank the person who has helped you etc". I am not casting aspertions on anyone but the gratitude culture seems to be on the wane! I really thank you for a very vital security input! You are simply great,in many ways than one.(A wonderful human being). Dear Gizzy, Today Firefox, tomorrow Opera! Who knows?

Oh of course I don't always expect opera to be immune to every exploit but it has always been the most immune to previous exploits as well and because of that is considered one of the safest browsers

Firefox only becomes as safe when you use noscript which I did use while I was using firefox but from the story lotuseclat79 posted it says Using Firefox Add-on NoScript may provide reduced exposure (underlining and bolding by me) and like I said another reason, there's other reasons I like opera more than firefox now

I always used firefox and liked it very much it was my main browser but I always considered opera as the better browser I just never tried it long enough to really get used to it,

I had the same problem when I used to use IE I would use firefox but IE was my main browser since I wasn't taking the time to get used to firefox.

Dear Gizzy,
You win! I have shifted to Opera! I actually was using Opera, when i decided that enough was enough with my Vista (default) and was using UBUNTU (LINUX) !! Any number of Swear words are not enough to describe my experience with Vista!

Unfortunately, i took a TEST to check out whether i was fit enough(Language wise) to use UBUNTU! If you were to be a teacher of the odd kind where the guy with the lowest score gets first rank, i was the only one!

Lotuseclat is a great man, but i don't think he has time on hand to teach Linux to me. I know He has sympathy for me and that's good enough a blessing!

PS: Iam not able to get the smiles into my post with Opera, any tips please?

Nice to hear you are using opera now,

But I wasn't trying to convert you , You can use whatever browser you're happy with

I've dabbled in linux a little I plan on playing around in linux a lot more but I don't know as much about linux as lotuseclat79, If you get any problems you can always post in the Unix/Linux section here,

As of for the smilies do you mean they won't go into the post if you click the icons or they won't work if you type them in manually?

Do you have javascript enabled?
As far as I know that should be the only thing that would prevent the smilies from working by clicking on the icons,

Does other browser also offers addons like firefox 3? I just can't shift to other browser because I'm afraid that I cannot longer use my addons on firefox 3.
