keylogger help needed
hi all

wonder if anybody could help i was online the otherday and my avast antivirus went off it was going berserk and suddenly this icon appeared on desktop the icon name perfect keylogger.

i didnt think anything of it at first and thought what ever it was avast had most probably got rid of it, how wrong was i went to cash point this morning to draw money out and have been all but wiped out so i checked my online banking the money was taken by a company called
Wwc*Searchcactus 877-331-7889 US so i rang the bank and they said that there must be somebody playing with you as 2 more transactions are pending from today and one for 1p.
it was suggested maybe spyware that has caused this but this has now made me think back to other day with this keylogger rubbish that has appeared on desktop and i cant get rid of it if i press delete it says another program is using it so it wont delete i have checked the processes and cant see anything out of place, ironically this keylogger icon i pressed on properties and i got options of screen, misc, compatibility, general, program, font, memory

i can not understand how this programe has appeared and why avast never got rid of it as avast went berserk and had options to abort connection which i did,

i would be so grateful if somebody could help me find this crap and remove it from my system but i am now worried as i have other computers on my network at home which is starting to worry maybe these are also infected some how or are the cause of it which has spread to my computer.

i am now going to are bank branch now as we rung them and they told us to go to the branch to fill some forms in and they will be able to tell us where the other payments are going which were requested today but i am confident that the other two payments will go to the same company/person or vile creature.

but the debit for the otherday when it started was sent to these any info on these would be also apreciated Wwc*Searchcactus 877-331-7889 US i have tried googleing them but seem to draw a blank as it comes up with some search engine.

thanks guys if you need any logs or what not i will be happy to provide i will be back from the bank shortly with more info on were payments are going.

we are not rich people and the money that was in are account was for are childrens nappys and milk altogether they have taken just over 43 pound that includes the two payments pending for today and the 1p payment from today.

if you guys could help i would be very grateful

thank you

The General Security forum is only for general questions regarding security software and things of that nature but not for actually removing malware as we have qualified helpers who are the only members who are authorized to assist with those matters. You can easily identify them as they have either a gold or blue shield beside their usernames. Please refer to this excerpt from the rules:

Quote:
Log Analysis/Malware Removal - In order to ensure that advice given to users is consistent and of the highest quality, those who wish to assist with security related matters must first graduate from one of the malware boot camp training universities or be approved by the administration as already being qualified. Those authorized to help with malware issues have a gold shield next to their name and authorized malware removal trainees have a blue shield next to their names. Anyone wishing to participate in a training program should contact a Moderator for more information.
I'm going to close this thread and ask you to repost in the Malware Removal & HijackThis Logs forum for the proper assistance.
