I am trying to rid a computer of a bunch of spyware/malware and such and would like to prevent this type of stuff from happening again.

The computer has the CA security suite on it, but apparently that didn't catch anything in the spyware or virus department. Spybot is running right now and so far has found 71 problems and counting. SO I will be using that from now on.

Can you please recommend a good FREE antivirus program.
