Hi,

I was using AVG with Zone Alarm. Yesterday I removed AVG & installed Avast 4.8.

When the windows re-started, a message popped up from Avast declaring Zone Alarm as unsupported.

Could this be an conflict issue?

Should I uninstall Zone Alarm & use something else like Comodo?

Also, pls advice a good free Anti-Spyware.

is there anyway to define the zone alarm as a trusted/supported software inside the avast options ? just try that ...

Good anti spyware, I use, are spybot search and destroy, and ad-aware.
both are available free at the following;
www.majorgeeks.com and www.download.com.
If you are using XP, Microsoft's windows defender is also available, free. They work well together.
