Keylogger and Security Center
Hey all, I ran into a problem, my bor downloaded this so called map hack program and ran it on my pc and after he ran it the program wanished from desktop and i can not find it anywhere. I dont know what it so it may be a key logger or a virus. After I restarted pc my Security Center wont turn on, why I try it says it can not turn on. Anybody knows a solution to one of the two problems?

First don't let your bro use your computer anymore. Get a good antivirus like NOD32 or Noton AV2009 (not security center).

That is an answear. You don't let people who are toxic to computer use your PC since no matter how good your AV is a person clicking can bypass it with a single click. Secondly a good AV as well as other removal tools are the key to getting rid of it. Since you can't seem to use google and want someone to walk you threw it I'll give you the heads up. You need to boot into safemode and scan with with an antimalware program that can detect rootkits. Combo Fix or SmitfraudFix would be a good start. After running those you can try posting some logs from malwarebytes and HiJackThis if you still have a problem.

Hi,
As lawson_jl says,I think you need to post a HijackThis Log, instructions at this TSG 'sticky':
http://forums.techguy.org/malware-re...st-before.html

You'll need to 'report' this thread to ask for it to be moved to the Malware forum.
Please be patient as there aren't that many qualified Malware experts but there are loads of people seeking their help.

Richard.
