Norton AV not scanning all files / folders
I'm using norton AV corp 10. When I run a full system scan, it reports a very low number of files as having being scanned and the scan is way too quick for the number of drives and files I have (15 mins) compared with other PCs I run the software on. Also when I go and tell it to scan a particular folder (as apposed to doing a full scan) where I know there are viruses, it will find the viruses, but the full scan won't report them. The options are set to scan all files, and I have no exceptions set up. So I don't know why it's behaving like this.

Is it that the full system scan completes in a normal manner and gives the status or if just will go away once its done from your screen ?

Verify that you are not running a custom scan.

Norton Corp 10 or Sym AV Corp 10?

If this is a business computer, please contact your system administrator. This forum does not provide support for work place PCs.

I intend no offense. I am aware that multiple home users have Sym AV Corp installed on their home PCs.
