Physical security
Hi All,
There have been some burglaries in my area recently and I am worried about my desktop pc. I have backed everything up, just in case but I am wanting advice on how to safeguard the case tiself. Has anyone got any ideas?

Get a monitored alarm system for your house. That way you protect all your assets, not just the PC. And you home insurance payments will go down a little.

I've also heard that some home insurance plans don't cover your PC, better check it out.

Store your backups offsite. Rent a safety deposit box at your bank and put the backups there. If there's a fire, then your backup dvd's won't melt away.
