AVG 7.5 Edition?
I notice on the postings here, there are newer versions (8.0 & 8.5) of AVG Free, I am using AVG Free version 7.5, which automatically runs and updates every morning. I am having no trouble with it, would it be wise to update to the latest version, or continue with what I have which has been trouble free?

avg 8 includes Link Scanner technology that blocks poisoned web pages in real time. This is the most important feature of AVG 8. If u require this then go for 8.0 else stick to 7.5

but i suggest you, not to use avg. Instead use AVIRA or AVAST

I like AVG 8.0 .. but do not install the link scanner.
I would be wondering how long AVG 7.5 will be supported.

They've moved some features of the paid version to the free version.
It still has support in getting updates .. you just can't call them.
