Could it be a virus?
Just yesterday I noticed that I could access websites if I entered the actual address. If I did a search for a certain topic, various website or course would show up, many legitimate websites that contained the information I was searching for. Clicking any one of enteries that the seach found would bring me to pages totally different than the ones shown in the search. Sites like tooseeka.com, search-march.com or smartbizseach.com when I would be clinking on a link for mayoclinic.com for example. Now today, I can't access the internet at all by entering website addresses. I get a page that states that "Internet explorer cannot display the webpage" Strangely, some of the website shortcuts on my desktop work, some don't. The poker site shortcuts work as does my online banking shortcut, but others like the IE shortcut and my short cut ot Yahoo mail don't work.

Any thoughts?
