I would like to request to have "Comodo firewall" and "Superantispyware" on your computer.

Many folks run Comodo Firewall. If you feel the need for more control than the Windows Vista Firewall provides easily and do not want to pay, it may be a good choice for you.

SuperAntiSpyWare is another product I have used on an ad-hoc basis. Like all the others, it never finds anything. Good clean living, I guess.

Others that may be of interest, on an ad-hoc basis, include: GMER; HiJackThis; MBAM; and the tools from SysInternals.

Use a layered approach:
  1. Router with NAT
  2. Software Firewall
  3. AntiVirus
  4. AntiSpyWare
  5. Firefox with NoScript and AdBlockPlus

Some folks would add these into the mix as well:
  • Limited Rights User Account
  • UAC
  • Sandbox
