Security for new laptop
Hello everyone!

I just got my new laptop hooked up and was wondering what you all recommend for security. They asked me at Bestbuy if I wanted Norton installed, and honestly? I've had nothing but bad luck with it in the past, so I told them no and was going to see what you guys recommend. Would adaware and spybot be enough? I need this computer to last me, so I def. want to make sure it's protected.

Thanks!
Brittney

No, AdAware and Spybot are not enough. They're malware scanners, not virus scanners. Norton Internet Security 2009 is actually rated as one of the best security suites. It consumes far less resources and is more effective than previous versions. I would definitely recommend it.
