I use the newest version of Mozilla Firefox (v3.0.7) along with NoScript (v1.9.0.8).
When I open Firefox, Google loads as my homepage (I have Google set as my default homepage). After Google loads, NoScript asks for permission to allow Google.com. I click the appropriate NoScript action to 'allow' Google.com.
After allowing the NoScript action, the page refreshes/reloads. When I click the NoScript icon again, an additional choice is also available. This choice is new, as I have never been prompted to allow this additional choice. The available choice in NoScript is "Allow http://127.0.0.1:1025" or "Temporarily Allow http://127.0.0.1:1025."
I do not ever remember seeing the choice to "allow http://127.0.0.1:1025" before. Would this be a request from the Google page, or would something else be requesting access to my browser? I've attached a a screen shot (image) of the NoScript dialog box which shows the IP. I've noted that even on the Tech Support Forum page, the same option appears, along with the same IP.
I've Googled the IP address, but I have not come up with anything. Would this particular IP address be 'local' to my computer?
Any comments/help appreciated.
