Live update
Hi,

I could not able to run my live update. It shows error message.

"live update could not complete. error 5."

Iam using windows XP.

I have seen similar query posted in forum and followed that, however could not able to solve the problem. I dont know why. Could anyone please help me.

Assuming you mean the Live Update component that forms part of Norton/Symantec products, why don't you do a search at the Symantec Support site?.

I was able to find this; http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT...06112501455675 [Note that this particular item refers to Norton 360 so, if your product is a different one, it may not help, but you could run the tool that is referred to and see if it helps.]

Hi smrk-

If it is a Norton (Symantec) Live Update issue- there is a member of TSG who is a tech for Norton and works with Norton issues in our forums so, I will send him a link to this thread in case you need the help.
