Hi,
I have a dell notebook windows xp professional, and since yesterday i get a windows defender message about this trojan AGENTBYPASS.GEN!K found on my computer. It asks me to remove, and than it boots the pc however it detects it again. what are my possibilities? thanks

To remove the virus, you will need to report your post to be moved to the malware category, as the general security forum is not for removing viruses.

The General Security forum is only for general questions regarding security software and things of that nature but not for actually removing malware as we have qualified helpers who are the only members who are authorized to assist with those matters. You can easily identify them as they have either a gold or blue shield beside their usernames. Please refer to this excerpt from the rules:
