Ok so my friend is having some issues with this loon who calls himself 'Jay'. She met him on a chat site and of course he ended up being some sort of stalker. He got her e-mail address and found her facebook etc etc and now keeps in contact with her friends and she believes that he is able to log her Instant Messaging conversations, plus watch her webcam feeds. He calls her on the phone and texts her lots etc basically relaying that info, i.e. (when she is on cam "Nice pink shirt", real weirdo.)

Is it possible for him to be logging/monitoring her internet activities so easily and how can she stop him from doing it? Does she need to contact the authorities (and who might they be)? Any feedback would be appreciated and if I posted this in the wrong forum, point me in the right direction.

I'd recommend that she blocks him from her messenger and all other forms off communication she has with him on the web and to get a firewall installed on her machine. If he is still harassing her she can call up her ISP and report abuse.
