It crashed partway through a full system scan for me at the weekend, every time I set it going. I downloaded and ran the Microsoft Malicious Software Removal tool and that found one virus. I was trying to be 100% sure that I was safe from this damn Conficker Virus, but I'm fairly sure of two things:
1) The only way to be safe is to not be running Windows
2) This has been hyped out of all proportion by the anti-virus software marketers

I suspect that the global impact of Conficker on April 1st will be similar in magnitude to the Y2k "event"... i.e. bugger all...

(Although, I'll be keeping my Windows PC turned off for a few days to be sure)
