Red face hpsetup and stand-by mode security
Hello. I have a security question. But it might constitute a breach of the forum rules. Can someone direct me to info about the following situation?:

While at a hotel, I left my computer on stand-by overnight. When I got back on the next morning I was linked to a network called hpsetup (device to device ad-hoc). I have been able to remove the network profile. Is it possible for someone to have linked to my laptop while the laptop is in standby mode, even if I have the Intel Wireless manager firewalled and have a Norton firewall?

From what I've read, hpsetup is probably a printer in the vicinity, but it was linked to my computer via the wireless network. I am concerned about my computer security and hope someone can direct me to a resource about this if this issue can't be discussed on the forum.

Thank you.
