Is a password protected file safe from viruses?
Suppose I have a .rar file which is password protected. In this case can this file be affected by the viruses from the outside world?

Thanks in advance!

Dear newbie_olala,
Based on what info' did you form the idea that password-protected files are immune to virus infections? Phantom010 is right.

Yeah, thank you! Those files can even be damaged simply by using notepad I just open one of them by notepad, then delete some arbitary charactes, then save the changes, then the file is spoiled. Too easy for a virus to do so.

Dear newbie_olala,
I have to wear a Kevlar bullet-proof vest when i venture out. You seem to be doing fine without it and that's what i call "attitude"! Che Guevara, said" if you tremble at the slightest indignation done to a fellow human, then you are my comrade-in-arms!".
