Quick Time and Dell
Dear Tech Support Guy,

This is going to sound like a silly question, but with a Dell computer, Windows 2003, would there be any risk in using Apple products like Itunes or Quick Time?

The reason I ask is because I have dealt with three hard drive crashes with this computer now, and one happened just after an Itunes update, and the last one happened just after I downloaded Quick Time for the first time.

If I have had three crashed in two years, do you think there could be some underlying problem like a motherboard issue? I just switched from McAffee to Norton after the last one.

While I am at it, I have a decision to make: either extend my warranty for two years for $190, or perhaps just buy a new computer if anything too expensive happens. I don't know if that's something you could answer, but I thought I would ask anyway.

Thank you very much for such a great site,

TreeFrog
