With Win32.Virut virus.. Dr Web and other AV applications attempt to fix it but most of us feel it's a lost cause. You can spend days on trying to fix the damage and still not know if it's really ever been fixed and you'll never be able trust your computer. You can read about it at:

The best thing to do is backup your data, mail, pictures, etc. and FDISK, FORMAT, and re-install Windows. But make sure your backed ups are not infected... What version of windows do you have?
