Vista freezes on Full Computer scan!
I want to do a virus scan, but i can't. When i open up Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 and click on a full scan, the computer always freezes at 1%. This also happens when i scan with Spyware Doctor as-well. It seems to freeze when it reaches the File Scanner.

My computer specifications can be seen by checking my profile (Acer Aspire, yardi-yarda)

The same thing happens also (the freezing) when i try to defrag my computer.

Could someone please provide a resolution? Thanks

So you mean chkdsk failed to work or do you mean chkdsk found no problems?

I don't see any, but just to double check, do you? Also, do you want the hidden devices as-well?

Try asking the moderator to move this discussion over to the Vista forum. Maybe they will have more ideas.
