I will choice AVG 8.0 free edition version. Or Avira is good one.

Free AVs sounds good to the ears, but the truth is, better if you stick with the paid ones. You'll have support too..

About the poll, I wonder why you didn't include bitdefender?

I vote for Kaspersky A-V, because i believe in Zero-hour, right now protection. The vote for free version is Avira Antivir. The O.P has clearly stated at the outset itself that he is gathering User preferences as they are very important!
