Zone Alarm is blocking wireless printer
I have just bought a wireless printer but zone alarm is saying; unable to communicate; TCP port 9100 to printer 192.168.02' i also get a zone alarm smart defence advisor saying; 'firewall has blocked internet access to 192.168.02 (UDP Port 427) from your computer. programme hose process for windows service'

I have allowed all HP entries in the programmes section of zone alarm.

How do i allow the printer?

Hit Windowskey+R and type in cmd and hit enter. In the black box type ipconfig and hit enter. Your IP address and Subnet mask should appear.

In Zone Alarm, click the Firewall tab at the left and then the Zones tab at the top. Click
the "Add" button and select "Subnet", then type in your IP and Subnet Mask.

Under IP you'll have something like "192.168.1.5"

Under Subnet you'll have something similar to "255.255.255.0"

Under Gateway you'll have something similar to "192.168.1.1"

Put the IP and Subnet into Zone Alarm. Ignore the gateway.
