Problem with Avira AntiVir Rescue CD - Get "Finished Scanning" message immediately
I just downloaded the file to create the Avira AntiVir Rescue CD from Avira's website and made a rescue CD with it. I then booted up from that CD and ran a scan. Immediately after running the scan it said, "Finished Scanning" and had no log file. I tried both the "Scan all files" and "Smart scan."

I found out that this is a bug, but have not found a solution.

Suggestions?

Thanks. I saw that. He was using his own version of the CD that he built. I'm using the prebuilt CD image. And I'm not dealing with a SATA drive. It's IDE.
