wireless question
my friend next door recently asked me to check his laptop for viruses and clean it up for him. He has no internet so I would need to hook him up to my wireless network in my apartment to update his software and clean up his computer. my question is, if his laptop is infected will it affect my laptop if its on the same network?

he would just be picking up my signal which is also how i connect.

Yes it is quite possible...why not use something like the Bit defender Rescue Cd which creates it's own environment, updates and can clean his system.

A flash drive would be easier than burning CDs.

Just disable the connection on your machine until you're done.
