Iq?
Hi everybody in this forum,

Don't know if this is a valid cause for a thread, r just,
my lack of pc knowledge?

Why do some of my files & folders appear in blue, and others in Black?
Why is there always a lite on my desktop, even after i have shut down?

Blue file and folder names indicate they are compressed. I don't know an answer to the other question.

Hi Frank4d
I'm with you re the blue indicating compressed files & folders,
would that apply to Local disk (C) & (D) aswell?
Documents & settings?
Thank-you

Where are you seeing blue text if not on the local hard drives? That's exactly where system file compression takes place.

Thank-you DoubleHelix for explaining that,
knew there would be a valid explanation for the two tone.
Possibly my curiousity goes back to Limewire days, where the blue
donated sharing.
Thankx to you and Frank4d
