Norton errors and system acting odd
My Norton update subscription expired last week (I have not renewed it yet) and starting today I began to have issue with my whole system.

When I start the system up I get a message saying that there is a "Bad Image" and it refers to CCApp.exe - I know this has something to do with Norton, but not sure how to fix it.

I thought I would uninstall Norton and install the free version of AVG, but I was unable to get to add and remove programs and AVG gave me an error during the install and would not let me run it.

I then tried to do a system restore and the system just sat there and did nothing after I selected the date to restore to and hit the next button.

I tried to get into Safe Mode and could not.

I wanted a friend to check it out so we tried crossloop and I could not get that to connect. And I went to the Microsoft site to run their free system scan and it would not install or run.

HELP???

I know there are alot of people that would say it's more then just a chance that your system starts acting up after the Norton runs out but I'll skip that.

What I would do is to unistall Norton with the Norton removal tool from the Norton website, even if you already removed it in the Add/Remove Control Panel. This will ensure all of Norton is removed and won't interfere with you installing other products like AVG for expample. Those two are likely related, I've ran into this a number of times. If you have further problems after that please post in more detail.
