Does this happen frequently?
Does the same happen in Firefox? (if you use it)

Dont use Firefox, just IE7. Happened for the 1st time yesterday and again just before I posted the screenshot. Never seen it before and nothing unusual happened. No blocked popups, no unusual activity, nothing. I use AVG 8.5.287 and have checked Resident Shield, Web Shield, Email Scan results and Virus Vault. Nothing showing at all.

For Phantom010
Under General Tab, do you mean Browsing History, Temp files, Stored cookies, Passwords and Web form information??

Any way to just delete Temp files only

Of course!

Under the General tab, Browsing history, click on Delete...

Then you'll have access to what you want to delete. Select Temporary Internet files.

How silly of me. Been so long since I've been into that, I thought that "Delete" deleted everything. Forgot there were choices in there.
Anyway, I've done that and have done a bit or backward and forward Browsing and hasnt done it yet.

Might leave this thread open for a day or two and see if it happens again. If not, I'll come back and mark Solved. Thanks again.

Hoping Deleting Temporary Internet Files might have fixed it, but alas, no such luck. Just happened again. Can you suggest another plan of attack.

Ok. I've emptied them again. Probably have to wait until tomorow night for it to recur. Also left a note with AVG Forum but no one there has even looked at it.

Temporary Internet Files must be emptied on a regular basis to increase overall performance and prevent any such problems.

That is not really true you know as the cache empties itself when it reaches the limit imposed but what you can do is increase the size of your internet cache to speed things up. You know with these huge drives of today the idea of 50 meg limits to internet cache is really silly since most of us might use 20 gb of 250 gb. Why not increase that way out although it will still emkpty when it reaches it's limit and most browsers will set to empty cache when you shut them down if you want to.
