Unhappy What is blocking me in?
Hi

Have laptop with normal Windows XP, MS Office etc. Started having intermittent Outlook problem, now permanent.

Detects outgoing, detects incoming, then either cannot connect to incoming, no reply or timeout messages
Tried Outlook Express - same
Tried different email account - same

No problem getting onto Internet Explorer

SO :

Not my email account as it works on other PCs in same office (on same wireless network) and on home PC.

Netcentral administer our email accounts.Did all the routine checks their end just in case, talked me through some sort of check from "Run" - confirmed it must be "something" on my computer.

Disabled Norton - no change

Any ideas please. Absolutely desperate as can't get any work done

Hi TiaMaria,

This is Mike from the Norton Authorized Support Team.

Can you please tell me which Norton product and version you are currently using, as well as what version of Outlook?

As soon as I receive a response I can assist you further in troubleshooting the issue.

Thank you,
Mike

Hi TiaMaria,

Norton Internet Security 2005 is no longer supported. Also, your subscription is most likely expired which means you are not receiving any updates. You can check your subscription status by contacting Norton Customer Support at the link below.

Norton Customer Support

If your subscription is expired, I would encourage you to renew it so that you get Norton Internet Security 2009, which contains many new and enhanced features over previous versions.

Thanks,
Mike
