Norton 360 problem... Please help
Hello, I bought a new laptop the other day from PCWorld and bought a copy of Norton 360 version 3 with it.

When setting up the laptop it asked me if i wanted to install a 2 month (i think) free Norton trial. At first i chose "no" as i thought as i'd already bought Norton 360 that i wouldnt need a free trial and could just install my purchased version as soon as i was logged in.
It then recommended that i did install the free version so i thought why not and clicked ok.

I have since tried to install my purchased copy of Norton 360 v3 and it keeps saying that another version of Norton has been detected on my computer and is being removed. After a minute or so it says that an older Norton product has been found and successfully removed and to restart my computer to continue installation of my new product.

I then restart my computer and the same thing happens again... "Another Norton product has been found and needs to be removed etc...." It just keeps telling me to restart my computer and when i do the whole process just happens over and over again.

I can't find any Norton products in my "Programs" to uninstall them manually so i really don't know what to do.

I don't know if i'm protected properly or not.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Alex
