Smile AVG Firewall XP Dell Dimension 8200
AVG Firewall prevents my Internet {Google} from opening. When it is turned off there is no problem. I then turn on my Windows XP firewall as a protection and no problem.
Sometimes AVG Firewall will let me in and then other times no.
I have approached AVG support but they have not been at all helpful.
Would appriciate if someone can assist me in this matter

Welcome to TSG.
There have been some problems with AVG.
I would leave it disabled and turn off the Windows firewall and install a good third-party firewall.

Cyberdefender has been the best anti-virus program that I've found to date!

Dear Nutrafrag
Thanks for your email and assistance. I will try a number of other things before uninstalling.
Thanks again

Dear hrlow2
Your suggestion is a very good one. Will try one or two other things and see if that works as well.
Thanks and have lots of fun
