i have windows xp.pop up window comes on to tell me i have potential worm activity last emails have similar subject.
subject ,re sale 70% off pfzer. Also appearing are muliple continuous emails going through my computer not sent by me. My tiscali technical support says maybe a virus and to update. It has coincidentally happened since talk talk informed me of the merger with tiscali.
Have set my mcafee to scan , just the mcafee that was on the dell computer, i have never paid or installed anything else. I am rather dim with computers, a senior, but have had one for few years and never had a problem of this nature. Hope i can find a solution, dont know if i have explained myself succinctly. Here's hoping. Thanks

thank you phantom010 I read the info on the site you recommended. I am just astounded at what can happen, like being burgled. It sounds as if i am indeed the victim of address spoofing to use me to pass on the chain of spam email. Dont know how to get it off my pc but will have a go. Thank you again from Charnock
