router problems
why do i have to shut my router off and reset it once in a while?

i only have one, but it just won't connect sometimes and have to reset it

Try downloading the latest firmware for your router from the brand's website. But always download the firmware on a wired connection, never on wireless.

how do i plug it in? just unplug the cable from router and plug it in to the computer?

If you are already connected directly to the router with a wired connection, then if you see the latest firmware listed on the website, you can download it.
