Solved: updating antivirus and dial up connection
My grandmother has AVG Free and Windows XP. Unfortunatley for me, she also has a dial up connection, so every time I want to download another program for her computer it takes forever. I was wondering is there any way to download the updated definations on another computer and then transfer to her computer. Lately, I've found that I just can't update her AVG because the connection is so slow. I was online once for 6 hours and it couldn't finish updating it

I'd appreciate all help.

It is best to update Avg to the Pc that is using it.
Try downloading to a USB stick and then transfer update files.
